Event Schedule

Beyond the Asylum | Event 1

Over time, many have not grasped just how incredibly common mental illness is. This has led to harmful stigmas that have shrouded mental health in shame and kept countless sufferers from treatment. The creepy asylum has been home to our darkest fears, but it’s time to turn on the lights. Mental health institutions and practitioners represent our highest efforts to heal. No one should be afraid to engage with them—or with anyone who needs them.

May 14 10:30 PM - 12:00 AM

The Prowling Lion | Event 2

Anxiety, depression, and trauma are three of the most common mental conditions challenging people today. Through interviews with patients and mental health professionals, this episode gives viewers an inside look at how each condition disrupts normal life and wreaks havoc on the mind, making each day a battle. But these are winnable fights! Your audience will witness how the right clinical care and support can make all the difference.

May 15 10:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Not Your Grandpa’s Electroshock Therapy | Event 3

Mental health treatments have some truly hair-raising histories. In this session, we explore the often crude ways in which people sought to cure the mind in centuries past, and we trace their evolution into modern psychiatry. Now there are plenty of solid treatment options that are helping people get real relief. After sharing about some of these, we also highlight exciting cutting-edge treatments. All this brings well-founded hope to guests who may be struggling with issues.

May 16 10:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Binding Up the Broken-Hearted | Event 4

Recent studies have shown a promising link between spirituality and mental health. More and more people are successfully combining biblical principles with clinical therapies. We talk with some of these patients and practitioners, and their stories show us how a return to God can be instrumental in the recovery and restoration of our minds. At the end, your guests can walk away feeling encouraged and empowered on their journey to mental fitness!
